The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Leal shoots in and bounces McPherson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
McPherson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Leal is defending well. McPherson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Leal has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! McPherson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
