Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Porter (ranked 885 p4p, 2093 weight class) and Luka Marka (ranked 113 p4p, 243 weight class). Marka has chosen HADES as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Porter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Luka Marka!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter avoids the body shot from Marka.
Porter throws a series of punches but Marka avoids them all with ease.
Porter misses with a wild combination.
Porter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Porter bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Porter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Porter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Marka's hands.
Porter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Porter is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Marka to keep the fight standing.

Porter misses with an elbow strike.
Porter jumps into guard, dragging Marka to the mat.
Porter is trying to keep Marka in close.
Porter has his foot on Marka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marka works his way back into a safe position though.

Porter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Marka takes a little break here. Porter wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Porter is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Porter is on top in guard.

Porter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Marka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Porter has Marka in his guard.
Marka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Porter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marka has managed to get both his arms back between Porter's legs - danger averted.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Porter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Porter bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Marka's head.

Marka uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Porter has time to react.

and Porter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Marka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Porter.
Sloppy strikes from Porter. Those never looked like landing.
Porter looks to land a combination. Marka sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Marka is rocked!
Porter lands a big right hand that sends Marka crashing to the mat! Porter stays standing though and waves Marka back to his feet!
Marka is still on wobbly legs! Can Porter finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Porter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marka avoids it really well and circles away.
Marka is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Porter just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Marka has gone limp and this one is over!
