Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perry Manson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thierri David!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A big right from David misses.
David chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Manson can pounce on him.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
David uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Manson.
David looks to land a right hand but Manson moved out of range.
Manson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Manson lands a jab to the head.
Manson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between David's hands.
It looks like Thierri David has been cut.
David takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
David throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Manson lunges at David with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by David's hand.
Manson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
David tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Manson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Manson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping David at a distance.
David misses with a straight left.
Manson dives in and scores a takedown into David's guard.
David is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Manson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
David is striking off his back. Manson thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Manson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Manson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
David makes his way to full guard. A much better position for David.
Manson wants to pass the guard but David is keeping the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Manson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
David is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Manson is aware though and is defending well.
Manson wants to pass the guard but David is keeping the position.
David is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Manson stays in close to David's body and controls the position.
David throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Manson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
David looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Manson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

David had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Manson defends it easily.
David not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
David is looking to slow Manson down with leg kicks.
Manson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Manson blocks the body kick.
Manson tests David's chin there with a solid looking shot.
David throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Manson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Manson scores with a shot to the body.
Manson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Manson.
David is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
David takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
David is still on wobbly legs! Can Manson finish him?
That kick from Manson tenderised David's leg. David is trying to keep his angry face on.
David seems to have recovered his senses.
A telegraphed right hand from David misses the target.
Manson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into David's guard.
Manson is stalling in the full guard.
David has an active guard here but Manson has managed to pass into half guard.
David looks winded!
Manson is taking a breather. David says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but David sees it coming and defends easily.
Manson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Manson is working for a kimura but David is defending it quite comfortably.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Perry Manson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Thierri David's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Manson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. David looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
David goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
David throws a sloppy head kick and Manson moves out of range easily.
Manson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
David has a takedown stuffed.
David takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Manson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between David's hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
David tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Manson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Manson scores with a nice right hand.
David buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Manson moves out of range of the strikes.
Manson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches David on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
David takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
David is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Manson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging David to the ground. Manson is now in David's guard.
David can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Manson controls the pace.
Manson drops back looking for a leg! David is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and David manages to kick Manson off! Manson jumps back into David's guard.
Manson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Manson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Manson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
David wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Manson is now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Manson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! David could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Manson has cracked it and David is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Manson!
