Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ger McDonnell (ranked 1548 p4p, 1603 weight class) and Juan Carlos (ranked 157 p4p, 162 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McDonnell.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ger McDonnell.
