Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 24143 p4p, 24583 weight class) and Jay Lewis (ranked 324 p4p, 290 weight class). Krzysztof Zakrzewski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Lewis! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Zakrzewski. Lewis stuffs the takedown attempt from Zakrzewski. Zakrzewski gets slowly back to his feet. Zakrzewski pushes Lewis up against the ropes in a clinch. Zakrzewski is working for takedown but Lewis is calmly controlling the position for now. Lewis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zakrzewski's efforts to push away. Lewis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Zakrzewski is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zakrzewski jumps guard and drags Lewis to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Zakrzewski lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Zakrzewski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lewis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zakrzewski has managed to get both his arms back between Lewis's legs - danger averted.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Lewis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Zakrzewski is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lewis wants to improve his position but Zakrzewski is controlling well.

Zakrzewski is landing with some decent strikes but Lewis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Zakrzewski lands a heavy elbow. Lewis is desperately trying to improve his position but Zakrzewski has a good base and remains in mount. Zakrzewski is working for a guillotine from mount but Lewis frees his head quite easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lewis can do anything to dispel that myth. Zakrzewski trying to control but Lewis is having none of it. Lewis tries to reverse the position but Zakrzewski maintains control. Zakrzewski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zakrzewski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lewis keeps trying to improve his position. Lewis holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Zakrzewski tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Lewis is trying to reverse the position but instead Zakrzewski has taken his back - oops! Lewis turns into Zakrzewski and is now in his guard.

Zakrzewski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lewis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lewis stopping the sweep attempt from Zakrzewski.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Zakrzewski controls Lewis momentarily but Lewis frees himself. Lewis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lewis drops back looking for a leg! Zakrzewski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zakrzewski manages to kick Lewis off! Lewis jumps back into Zakrzewski's guard. Lewis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lewis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lewis drops back looking for a leg! Zakrzewski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zakrzewski manages to kick Lewis off! Lewis jumps back into Zakrzewski's guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lewis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Zakrzewski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Zakrzewski has escaped and now he's on top!
Lewis throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Zakrzewski escapes and throws Lewis's legs to the side, diving into side control! Zakrzewski gets to mount! Lewis was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Zakrzewski has hold of Lewis's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lewis manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Zakrzewski lands a big shot there that rocks Lewis but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Zakrzewski prevents Lewis from getting the reversal. Lewis is still trying to improve position. Zakrzewski is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lewis is surviving well by controlling Zakrzewski's body position as best he can. Lewis looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Zakrzewski is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Lewis is defending well though. Zakrzewski let's go of the attempt for now. Zakrzewski keeps control of the position as Lewis tries to break free.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Zakrzewski landing with strikes. Zakrzewski is looking to control Lewis but Lewis is wriggling around and keeping busy. You can see the frustration on Lewis's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Zakrzewski trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Krzysztof Zakrzewski dominated that round. That's time! Zakrzewski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round! Zakrzewski shoots and misses and Lewis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Zakrzewski closes the distance looking to clinch and Lewis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut. Zakrzewski tries to clinch but Lewis moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zakrzewski shoots in looking for a takedown. Lewis tries to sprawl out of it but Zakrzewski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Lewis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zakrzewski fails with the takedown and Lewis counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysztof Zakrzewski. Zakrzewski is rocked! Zakrzewski tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lewis counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Zakrzewski out cold! What a finish! Lewis is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
