PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between AS Shole (ranked 24833 p4p, 5367 weight class) and Samwell Brandybuck (ranked 282 p4p, 197 weight class). Shole has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, AS Shole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Samwell Brandybuck!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandybuck tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shole was well out of range. Poor timing from Brandybuck.
Brandybuck looks to land a right hand but Shole moved out of range.
Brandybuck scores with a body shot.
Shole is breathing heavily.
Brandybuck drops Shole with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shole looks back up at him and smiles so Brandybuck waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Shole is rocked!
It looks like AS Shole has been cut.
Brandybuck flashes Shole a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Shole's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Shole crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Brandybuck punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Samwell Brandybuck!
