Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Linkin (ranked 3866 p4p, 2927 weight class) and Tiny Fin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiny Fin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Linkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tiny Fin! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fin tries to clinch but Linkin moves away and Linkin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fin thinking. Fin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fin moves into the clinch. Fin is trying to pull guard but Linkin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Fin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Linkin smiles and moves away.
Fin closes the distance looking to clinch and Linkin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fin thinking. Fin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Linkin just stands there and leans against the cage. Jose Linkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiny Fin. Linkin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fin has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fin decides to pull guard. Fin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Linkin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Linkin tries to stand but Fin is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Linkin trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Linkin wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Fin's closed guard. He's half up but Fin has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Fin pivots and extends the arm, Linkin falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Fin! Well done that man!
