Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nikos Balopoulos (ranked 917 p4p, 1120 weight class) and Leonardo Pancho Garcia (ranked 125 p4p, 151 weight class). Garcia is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thors Hammer - Mexico. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leonardo Pancho Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balopoulos misses with a wild body shot.
Balopoulos has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Balopoulos there as he acknowledges the shot.
Garcia displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Balopoulos throws out the jab.
A little jabbing left from Garcia on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Balopoulos takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A swing and a miss from Balopoulos.

Balopoulos throws a right and a left that both miss.
Garcia avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Balopoulos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garcia was well out of range. Poor timing from Balopoulos.
Garcia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Balopoulos.
Balopoulos misses with a shot to the body
and Garcia counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Garcia stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Balopoulos takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Oh Balopoulos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Garcia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Balopoulos takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Garcia counters with a left to the body.
Balopoulos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Balopoulos fails with a takedown attempt.
Garcia sends Balopoulos crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Garcia is motioning to the referee to let Balopoulos up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Balopoulos closes the distance and clinches.
Balopoulos tries for a takedown. No joy.
Garcia is pressed up against the cage. Balopoulos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Garcia down to the mat. Garcia avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikos Balopoulos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Balopoulos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Garcia connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Balopoulos scrambles back to his feet.
Balopoulos is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Garcia's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Balopoulos fails in his attempt to clinch.

Garcia cracks Balopoulos with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Garcia has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Balopoulos to stand back up!
Garcia sends Balopoulos crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Garcia is motioning to the referee to let Balopoulos up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Garcia ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Balopoulos out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leonardo Pancho Garcia!
