The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konrad drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Konrad wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nagata, who protects the arm well.
Konrad in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Nagata is looking to reverse the position.
Konrad thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Nagata tries to buck Konrad off but Konrad is having none of it.
Nagata is trying to control Konrad's posture but Konrad avoids it.
Nagata manages to get back to half guard.
Konrad is trying for a kimura here. Nagata looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Konrad wins by kimura!
