The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoic walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Stoic looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Stoic looks to clinch
and Mferi counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Andrei Stoic has been cut.
Mferi lands a body shot.
Mferi scores with a jab to the body.
Nice body punch from Mferi.
Stoic's coach down at Ironbound MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stoic's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mferi clobbers Stoic with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mferi listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Stoic is rocked!
Stoic gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Mferi gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Stoic is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ispa Mferi!
