Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Justice (ranked 2907 p4p, 3574 weight class) and Flaming Kerotan (ranked 198 p4p, 229 weight class). Flaming Kerotan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Justice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flaming Kerotan! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerotan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Justice shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kerotan is trying to defend but Justice finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Justice keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Kerotan tries to kick Justice off but Justice keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kerotan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Kerotan kicks off Justice and gets to his feet. Justice shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Justice was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kerotan can do anything to dispel that myth. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
