Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Test SubMan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naomichi Kobashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think SubMan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tickle Me Elmo. Test SubMan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Naomichi Kobashi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Test SubMan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Naomichi Kobashi! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! SubMan misses the jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kobashi is defended easily by SubMan. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kobashi. SubMan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kobashi sees it coming and avoids it easily. SubMan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kobashi napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kobashi manages to get back to half guard. SubMan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. SubMan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. SubMan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. SubMan drops an elbow to the side of Kobashi's head. Kobashi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. SubMan is working away from the top position though. SubMan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. SubMan missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. SubMan is just content to waste time from the top position. Kobashi takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Kobashi controls SubMan momentarily but SubMan frees himself. SubMan wants to control from the top but Kobashi keeps moving. Kobashi has SubMan pulled in close to control his posture. Kobashi is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! SubMan has his hands clasped together but Kobashi extends an breaks SubMan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kobashi.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Naomichi Kobashi!
