Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert Palmer (ranked 4095 p4p, 4126 weight class) and Adam Peterson (ranked 418 p4p, 419 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Palmer shoots in looking for a takedown but Peterson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Palmer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Peterson cracks Palmer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Palmer misses with a takedown attempt - Peterson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Palmer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice uppercut there from Peterson.
Peterson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Peterson lands a jab to the nose.

Palmer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Palmer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Palmer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Palmer is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Peterson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Palmer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Peterson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Palmer perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Peterson is trying to get back to full guard.
Palmer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Peterson sees it coming and defends easily.

Peterson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Palmer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Palmer drops an elbow to the side of Peterson's head.
Peterson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Palmer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Palmer is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Peterson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Palmer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palmer has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Peterson defend it? Palmer steps over the head and cranks it - Peterson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Palmer!
