Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kemp Dennis (ranked 3042 p4p, 2324 weight class) and Bertrand Holderbaum (ranked 389 p4p, 321 weight class). Bertrand Holderbaum will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kemp Dennis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bertrand Holderbaum! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick from Holderbaum lands but Dennis takes it in his stride.
It looks like Kemp Dennis has been cut. Holderbaum fakes the leg kick and cracks Dennis in the body. Holderbaum is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dennis gets a double leg takedown into Holderbaum's guard. Dennis stopping the sweep attempt from Holderbaum. Dennis working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Holderbaum's head. Holderbaum is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Holderbaum throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Holderbaum can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dennis controls the pace. Dennis is in close to Holderbaum's body, working some short punches and elbows. Holderbaum had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dennis defends it easily. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dennis's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Holderbaum not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holderbaum is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holderbaum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dennis's guard. Holderbaum sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dennis's guard. Dennis is looking to improve his position.
Dennis wants to control but Holderbaum is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dennis wants to improve his position but Holderbaum is controlling well.
Holderbaum is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Holderbaum is trying to work for a kimura but Dennis is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holderbaum in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Dennis tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Holderbaum!
