Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thepsenavong slips under a jab.
Thepsenavong wants to counter the offense by Strazdins and move into the clinch position.
Thepsenavong looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Strazdins!

Strazdins is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Thepsenavong trying to control the position but Strazdins is working away.
Strazdins tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thepsenavong wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Strazdins tries to buck Thepsenavong off but Thepsenavong is having none of it.
Strazdins wants to control but Thepsenavong postures up.
Thepsenavong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thepsenavong is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Strazdins has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Strazdins's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Strazdins wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Thepsenavong has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Strazdins's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Strazdins is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Thepsenavong!
