Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benson Beckley (ranked 1422 p4p, 2226 weight class) and Dwalin Broadaxe (ranked 119 p4p, 179 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwalin Broadaxe!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckley throws a head kick that misses

and Broadaxe counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Beckley pushes Broadaxe off but Broadaxe dives into side control.
Beckley is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Broadaxe lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Beckley down.

Beckley is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Broadaxe has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Beckley tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Broadaxe working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Beckley pushes Broadaxe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Broadaxe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Beckley has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Broadaxe is on him like a limpet, forcing Beckley back against the cage.
Broadaxe wants to take the fight to the mat but Beckley manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Broadaxe is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Beckley looks calm but he's in trouble here. Broadaxe gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Beckley is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Broadaxe lets go of the hold and Beckley can pop his arm back in it's socket.
