Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miles O Brien (ranked 2039 p4p, 5338 weight class) and Ed Bridger (ranked 158 p4p, 317 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miles O Brien!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ed Bridger!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridger lands a leg kick that knocks O Brien off balance momentarily.
O Brien tries to clinch there but Bridger circles away.

O Brien misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bridger blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bridger tries to land a knee to the head but O Brien blocks with his arms.

O Brien breaks from the clinch.

and Bridger counters with a nice uppercut.
Bridger attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bridger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by O Brien.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bridger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bridger wants it to stay on the feet.
Bridger was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

O Brien digs a right hand into Bridger's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bridger's gas tank.

O Brien uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bridger.

That was a close round but I would say that Miles O Brien will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

I would just about give that final round to Ed Bridger.
