PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaven May Jr (ranked 521 p4p, 677 weight class) and Tre Jokinen (ranked 71 p4p, 98 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think May Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to HonestKey- Self Discovery. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jokinen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jokinen trying to control the action but May Jr is working from the bottom.
May Jr regains full guard. Nicely done.

May Jr's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

May Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jokinen stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! May Jr throws up his legs and catches Jokinen in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Jokinen tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by May Jr! That came out of nowhere!
