PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luigi Sztojka (ranked 4975 p4p, 5528 weight class) and Ozuma Ozumab (ranked 456 p4p, 478 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ozumab tried to score with a low kick but Sztojka checks it.
Ozumab scores with the left hand. Sztojka knows he should have avoided that one.
Ozumab shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sztojka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ozumab was well out of range. Poor timing from Sztojka.
Ozumab misses with a few strikes there.
Sztojka misses with a kick to the body.

Ozumab closes the distance and clinches.
Ozumab lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sztojka backwards.
Ozumab throws a head punch that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sztojka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ozumab gets in close and instigates a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ozumab.
Sztojka is working Ozumab over against the cage.

Sztojka manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sztojka scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ozumab in his tracks.

Ozumab is rocked!
Sztojka steps in with a hook that catches Ozumab right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Sztojka follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Ozumab looks absolutely devastated.

Luigi Sztojka spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
