Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nexaras Maltus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Regulus Terentius!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terentius circles away from the clinch attempt
and Terentius counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Maltus scores with a jab. Terentius acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Maltus lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Maltus.
Maltus tries to bum rush Terentius with a series of wild strikes but Terentius uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Maltus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Terentius swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nexaras Maltus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Terentius circles away from the clinch attempt.
Terentius lands a slapping body shot.
Nice defenses there by Maltus.
Maltus tries to close the distance and clinch but Terentius swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Terentius attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Maltus has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Maltus there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Nexaras Maltus has been cut.

Terentius looks to throw the jab but Maltus is out of range.
Maltus wants to clinch up but Terentius keeps it at a distance.
Terentius misses the jab.
Maltus scores with the left hand. Terentius knows he should have avoided that one.
Terentius misses with an uppercut. Maltus saw that one coming.
Terentius misses with a right hand
and Maltus counters with a series of strikes. Terentius will be more careful next time no doubt.
Terentius misses the shot to the body.
Terentius lands a nice leg kick that just misses Maltus's sensitive parts.
Maltus is looking to clinch but Terentius is avoiding it.
Maltus tries to clinch but Terentius is having none of it.
Maltus fails with an attempt to clinch.
Maltus smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Terentius counters with a low kick, right behind Maltus 's knee.
The fight stays on the outside here - Maltus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Maltus tries to clinch there but Terentius circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maltus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Terentius swats away the attempt to clinch by Maltus.
Terentius keeps the fight on the outside.
Terentius bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Maltus's head backwards.
Maltus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Terentius paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Regulus Terentius dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Nexaras Maltus's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Terentius tries to land a front kick but Maltus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Maltus throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Maltus tries to clinch but Terentius moves away
and Terentius counters with a good low kick that Maltus was not able to check.
Maltus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Maltus darts in trying to clinch
and Terentius counters with a low kick, right behind Maltus 's knee.
Terentius looks to land a left hand but Maltus moved out of range nicely.
Maltus looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Terentius was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Terentius has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maltus tries to clinch but Terentius is having none of it.
Terentius throws out a counter right but Maltus avoids it with no problem.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Terentius lands a body shot.
Terentius scoring well with a low kick there.
Terentius scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maltus doesn't seem bothered though.

Maltus walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Terentius rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Maltus has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
Terentius misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nexaras Maltus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Terentius cracks Maltus with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Maltus get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Maltus looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Maltus is rocked!
Terentius looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maltus is looking to clinch but Terentius is avoiding it.
Maltus checks a leg kick.
Terentius fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Maltus is out of range.
Maltus tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Terentius counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Regulus Terentius!
