Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tokita Ohma (ranked 5704 p4p, 5088 weight class) and Cason Zimmerman (ranked 567 p4p, 522 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tokita Ohma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cason Zimmerman!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman jabs Ohma right on the nose. Ohma blinks but takes it well.
Ohma throws the left hand but Zimmerman avoids the punch easily.
Zimmerman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ohma swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ohma appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Zimmerman darts in and clinches Ohma up against the ropes.
Ohma looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Ohma tries to circle away but Zimmerman has him pinned against the ropes.
Ohma is trying to push Zimmerman away but Zimmerman has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Zimmerman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ohma stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ohma pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Zimmerman back to the ropes. Ohma follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Zimmerman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ohma, pushing him back against the ropes.

and Ohma makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ohma lands a head kick that bluckles Zimmerman and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Ohma no doubt looking to push for a finish!
