Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zambosurian Inday (ranked 5415 p4p, 5692 weight class) and Fyodor Pending (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 64 - 49 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 60 - 184 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Inday looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pending looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Pending working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Inday has passed into half guard!
Inday takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Inday seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pending for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inday continues to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inday's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Further stalling from Inday.
If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Inday is stinking the place up with his stalling.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Inday gets a double leg takedown into Pending's guard.
Inday controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Inday working some strikes from top position.
Inday is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

More hug and hope from Inday.
Inday postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Pending can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Inday controls the pace.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Inday closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Inday happy to just control the position for now.
Inday working the ground and pound.
The referee asks Inday politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Inday prefers to stall for the moment though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pending takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Zambosurian Inday dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Inday showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pending is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Inday has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Inday fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pending sprawls well initially but Inday persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Inday stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Pending to get to his feet.

Inday looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Inday is taking a breather. Pending says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pending looking for a kimura from the bottom but Inday passes into side control!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Inday remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Inday.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Inday gets a double leg takedown into Pending's guard.
Inday controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Inday stands and throws Pending's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Inday looks up at the clock and then as Pending takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Inday smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Inday is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pending's shoulder. That is not cool.
Pending takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Pending should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Pending takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Inday continues to hold on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Inday drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Inday is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pending's shoulder. That is not cool.
Pending is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Pending trying to remain calm as Inday controls from the top position.

Pending is looking to reverse the position.
Inday controlling the position from side mount.
Zambosurian Inday is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Fyodor Pending has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Inday has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
