Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Saurabh Pandeya (ranked 634 p4p, 3170 weight class) and Pupp Eye (ranked 90 p4p, 342 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pandeya might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clan In Da Front. Saurabh Pandeya is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Saurabh Pandeya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Pupp Eye!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pandeya throws a jab but it's blocked by Eye.
Pandeya misses with a looping right.
Pandeya displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Eye throws out the jab.
Eye waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pandeya.
Pandeya throws out a powerful jab.
Pandeya's jab looks to have found its range, popping Eye under the eye.
Eye avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Pandeya displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Eye throws out the jab.

Pandeya was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pandeya moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eye lands a glancing blow to the side of Pandeya's head.
Pandeya throws a lazy right hand but Eye sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Pandeya changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eye looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pandeya seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Eye for as long as he can get away with.
Pandeya has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Eye is desperately trying to improve his position but Pandeya has a good base and remains in mount.

Pandeya takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Eye felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Eye can't escape the position.
Eye is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Pandeya with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eye is wriggling around trying to escape.

Pandeya wants to take his opponent's back but Eye doesn't allow it.

Pandeya is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Eye can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Eye is looking to improve his position but Pandeya isn't that keen on the idea.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Pandeya lands with a thumping leg kick.
Pandeya connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Eye's hands.

Eye catches Pandeya with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donk. Eye catches Pandeya right on the button with a cross.

Pandeya looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The fighters circling - Pandeya throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pandeya tries to score a power double leg takedown but Eye sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pandeya somewhat.

Eye tries to roll over but Pandeya keeps him under control.
Pandeya is controlling the pace.
Eye manages to get to full guard.

Pandeya slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Eye working for a triangle but Pandeya defends it easily.
Pandeya stays in close to Eye's body and controls the position.
Pandeya is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Eye can do to turn this around?
Eye is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pandeya is refusing to be controlled, as Eye sits in half guard.
Well, if Eye is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Eye is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pandeya is on top in guard.

Pandeya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eye swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Saurabh Pandeya will probably get the nod.
That's time! Pandeya's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Eye might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Eye clobbers Pandeya with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Eye throws a hook but Pandeya blocks it.

Pandeya fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Eye.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A nice side step and Eye releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pandeya wants to take a breather but Eye is having none of it.

Eye wants to get back to full guard.
Pandeya looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Eye tries to get to full guard but Pandeya has control of the leg.
Eye is refusing to be controlled, as Pandeya sits in half guard.

Pandeya is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Eye is just riding it out for now. Pandeya eventually gives up the hold.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Pandeya wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eye keeps working.
Eye preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Saurabh Pandeya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eye uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pandeya.
Eye has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pandeya finds it's way round the side to connect with Eye's head.
Eye takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Eye misses with a looping left.
Pandeya misses the shot to the body.
Eye moves out of range as Pandeya strikes.
Eye ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pupp Eye has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Saurabh Pandeya is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd cheers as Pandeya lands an impressive looking overhand right. Eye doesn't seem phased though.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well Pandeya has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
