And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Desi Kraag! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Pancake is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kraag's half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Pancake (2) vs (0) Kraag Kraag tries to roll over but Pancake keeps him under control. Pancake with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Kraag tries to get to full guard but Pancake has control of the leg. Kraag is still trying to improve position. Kraag looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kraag looking for subs from the bottom but Pancake mounts him! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pancake controlling from mount. Pancake avoids the attempt from Kraag to control. Kraag is trying to escape the mount.

Kraag fending off the submission attempt from Pancake. Pancake looking to break Kraag's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kraag remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pancake will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Pancake gets his hands free as Kraag looks to control. Kraag defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Pancake's arms. Pancake has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kraag's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pancake looking for the RNC. Pancake has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Kraag trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Pancake controlling well, preventing Kraag from escaping the position.

The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kraag tries to escape but Pancake has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Pancake doesn't have the hooks in and Kraag manages to turn into his guard.

He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kraag rolls with it to try and escape but Pancake cranks on the arm and Kraag is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
