Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinho throws a right hand that Ferreira ducks under and follows up with a left that Ferreira also avoids with ease.
Dinho gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ferreira tries to free his leg and advance position but Dinho is retaining full guard.
Dinho keeping moving, preventing Ferreira from controlling successfully.
Ferreira passes Dinho's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ferreira is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ferreira is looking to take a break and control but Dinho is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ferreira is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Dinho reverses the position - he's now on top in Ferreira's guard.
Ferreira had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dinho is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ferreira Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dinho's back instead.

Dinho just trying to survive but Ferreira is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Dinho holding both Ferreira 's hands and preventing any damage.
Ferreira is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Ferreira has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dinho has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
