PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 1160 p4p, 1482 weight class) and Grant Harklie (ranked 129 p4p, 160 weight class). Drago kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drago Theme. Harklie has chosen Holycrud as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grant Harklie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harklie is defended easily by Drago.
Harklie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drago as he jumps to the side.
Drago cracks Harklie with an open hand slap.
Harklie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drago tries to avoid it but Harklie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drago to the ground. Drago escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ivan Drago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grant Harklie.
Harklie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Drago counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Grant Harklie has been cut.

Drago sends Harklie crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Drago is motioning to the referee to let Harklie up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harklie has his takedown stuffed
and Drago counters with a crisp right that sends Harklie to the canvas! Drago follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
