Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Opa Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Pulanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jokinen comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - Baby's Got A Temper. Pulanski has chosen Sonic Empire as his entrance music. Opa Jokinen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jokinen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pulanski. Pulanski has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pulanski tries to pull guard but Jokinen holds him up against the cage and eventually Pulanski drops back down to his feet.
Pulanski has Jokinen pressed against the cage, preventing Jokinen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jokinen tries to break free but Pulanski pushes him back against the cage. Jokinen is trying to force a seperation but Pulanski has the dominant position. Jokinen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pulanski prevents it.
Pulanski goes for a takedown attempt but Jokinen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pulanski looks to land a combination but Jokinen avoids it well. Jokinen scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Yuri Pulanski has been cut. Pulanski takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Pulanski ducks under a wild hook from Jokinen. Jokinen throws out a loose jab but Pulanski uses good head movement to avoid it. Jokinen leaves Pulanski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Opa Jokinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Pulanski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jokinen waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Pulanski. Pulanski uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jokinen. Pulanski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jokinen tries to buck Pulanski off but Pulanski is having none of it. Sloppy strikes there by Pulanski. Jokinen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Pulanski throwing shots but Jokinen is blocking nicely. Jokinen gets full guard. Pulanski throwing strikes but missing. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Pulanski trying to control the position from guard on top but Jokinen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pulanski looks gassed! Jokinen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pulanski is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jokinen. Pulanski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jokinen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pulanski working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jokinen is looking for a sweep. Pulanski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jokinen keeps working. The strikes coming from Pulanski are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pulanski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jokinen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jokinen. Pulanski tries to free his leg and advance position but Jokinen is retaining full guard. Jokinen wants to sweep here but Pulanski controlling him for the moment. Jokinen working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jokinen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pulanski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pulanski lands a couple of digs. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jokinen is on top in guard.
Jokinen pushes down on Pulanski's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jokinen is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pulanski has managed to free his arm - good work. Pulanski tries to get to full guard but Jokinen has control of the leg. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jokinen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pulanski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The fighters are battling for position here. Pulanski manages to regain full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Opa Jokinen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Yuri Pulanski's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Pulanski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jokinen swivels though and keeps the full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pulanski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pulanski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Jokinen looks to score with a jab to the body but Pulanski is just out of range. Jokinen slips under a jab from Pulanski. A punch combination from Pulanski misses. Jokinen connects with a looping right hand.
Jokinen scores with the left hand. Pulanski knows he should have avoided that one. Jokinen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pulanski sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jokinen lands a glancing blow to the side of Pulanski's head.
Pulanski is rocked! Jokinen is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jokinen drops Pulanski with a big left hand! Pulanski is injured, injured bad! Jokinen jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
