Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darbo Abott (ranked 3207 p4p, 2992 weight class) and Jason McMelon (ranked 344 p4p, 329 weight class). Abott's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, That Smell. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McMelon is looking to escape.

Abott lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

McMelon leaves Abott with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McMelon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Abott. That did some damage!

Abott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McMelon manages to avoid it.
McMelon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
