The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha misses with a wild body shot.
Hardwick avoids the body shot from Rocha.
Hardwick half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Rocha looks to score with a jab to the body but Hardwick is just out of range.
Jose Rocha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rocha throws a body punch but Hardwick moves out of range.
Hardwick misses the shot to the body.
Rocha swings widly with a right hand
and Hardwick counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hardwick looking to sit in guard and control but Rocha gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Rocha passes Hardwick's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rocha seems to be working for a kimura but Hardwick defends the submission attempt.

Rocha is working for a submission of some sort.
Rocha is looking for a kimura but Hardwick is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rocha to get the leverage.
Rocha passes to side control.
Rocha is working to tighten his grip on Hardwick's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hardwick has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rocha is really squeezing tight and eventually Hardwick passes out! Rocha breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Jose Rocha decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
