Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Akerfeldt (ranked 2195 p4p, 1798 weight class) and Kree P Krawlee (ranked 87 p4p, 70 weight class). Krawlee has chosen Sail as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bjorn Akerfeldt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 28 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kree P Krawlee! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akerfeldt slips a jab from Krawlee. Akerfeldt lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Kree P Krawlee has been cut. Akerfeldt scores with a nice head shot. Akerfeldt connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Krawlee misses with a straight right. Akerfeldt was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Akerfeldt dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Krawlee. That did some damage! Akerfeldt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Krawlee to score with a decent uppercut. Akerfeldt keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Krawlee misses with a hook. Akerfeldt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Krawlee. Akerfeldt tests Krawlee's chin there with a solid looking shot. Akerfeldt drops his shoulder and cracks Krawlee with a huge uppercut! Krawlee goes down! Can Akerfeldt finish him?
Krawlee is rocked! Akerfeldt passes Krawlee's left leg - he's now in half guard. Krawlee is still in real trouble! Can Akerfeldt finish him? Akerfeldt is controlling the pace.
Krawlee felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krawlee moves into full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Akerfeldt sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Krawlee's guard. Akerfeldt is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Krawlee is doing well to control the position and prevent Akerfeldt from advancing to side control. Krawlee wants to get back to full guard. Akerfeldt frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Akerfeldt looking to control but Krawlee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Krawlee is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Akerfeldt has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Akerfeldt tightening his grip on Krawlee, looking for the choke. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krawlee trying to control the position but Akerfeldt manages to sink in the hooks.

Akerfeldt misses the jab. Akerfeldt throws a hook to the side of Krawlee's head but Krawlee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Akerfeldt is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Krawlee throws a lazy right hand but Akerfeldt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Akerfeldt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Krawlee swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Akerfeldt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Akerfeldt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A swing and a miss from Krawlee. As Krawlee backs away, Akerfeldt returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Akerfeldt lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Krawlee is looking to improve his position but Akerfeldt isn't that keen on the idea. Akerfeldt manages to capitalize on a mistake by Krawlee to take his back! Krawlee is trying to defend against the choke here but Akerfeldt has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Akerfeldt Tightens the hold and Krawlee taps out furiously! Akerfeldt displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bjorn Akerfeldt! In his post fight interview, Bjorn Akerfeldt started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
