Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23571 p4p, 23524 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wala Sapi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 26 - 41 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 36 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sapi feints and as Mibangon raises his hands in defense, Sapi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Mibangon is looking to stand back up but Sapi counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mibangon. Sapi is controlling the pace.
Sapi with the ground and pound but Mibangon uses the opportunity to regain guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon controlling the position. Sapi is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mibangon pulls Sapi in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sapi. Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mibangon to the mat! Mibangon manages to get full guard. Sapi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mibangon pulls Sapi in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Mibangon is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi controls from within his opponent's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sapi napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mibangon content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sapi is trying to control Mibangon's posture but Mibangon avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A lull in the action here as Mibangon stalls from top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sapi. Mibangon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon trying to control the action but Sapi is working from the bottom. Mibangon takes a little break here. Sapi wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sapi wants to control but Mibangon postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mibangon is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sapi's shoulder. That is not cool. Mibangon taking a break here but Sapi is having none of it and regains half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sapi is doing well to control the position and prevent Mibangon from advancing to side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Mibangon slaps away a takedown attempt from Sapi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sapi shoots in but no luck this time. Sapi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sapi sprawls well initially but Mibangon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mibangon. Mibangon performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Sapi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mibangon is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mibangon controlling the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sapi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sapi wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi stuffs the takedown attempt from Mibangon. Mibangon gets slowly back to his feet. Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mibangon blocks it well. Mibangon looking to score a takedown here. Sapi is defending well but Mibangon drives through and ends up in Sapi's guard. Mibangon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi controlling Mibangon's posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that's the end of the fight! Minatay Mibangon showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mibangon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
