Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonathan Bufford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leopold Vencie!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vencie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bufford.
Bufford drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bufford decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Vencie lands an overhand right.
It looks like Jonathan Bufford has been cut.
Vencie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bufford.
Vencie throws an overhand right that lands on Bufford's shoulder, as Bufford tries to avoid the shot.
Vencie misses with a looping right.
Decent striking displayed by Vencie there.
Vencie throws a predictable looking body shot
and Bufford holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vencie wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bufford wants the takedown. Vencie is fighting it off but Bufford persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Vencie's guard against the cage.
Bufford prevents Vencie from getting back to his feet.
Bufford slips nicely into half guard.
Bufford uses his free foot to push down on Vencie's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vencie.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vencie is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Bufford tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Vencie tries to buck Bufford off but Bufford takes his back!
Bufford is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Vencie with him. Vencie is trying to defend but Bufford has an arm under the chin now! Vencie grimaces and is forced to tap out!
