Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Dude (ranked 4540 p4p, 4539 weight class) and Heavy Mann (ranked 187 p4p, 186 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A jab from Mann misses.
Mann thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mann throws a lazy uppercut
and Dude counters with an inside leg kick.
Mann on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Mann takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dude looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mann looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Heavy Mann is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dude tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mann manages to circle out of the way.
Mann throws a jab but it's blocked by Dude.
Some bone on bone action there as Mann checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Dude is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Dude's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mann connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dude scrambles back to his feet.

Mann throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mann takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mann throws the left hand but Dude avoids the punch easily.
A big right from Dude misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mann! But no joy.

Dude moves into range and clinches up with Mann.
Dude swings wildly with an uppercut but Mann uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mann is trying to push Dude away but Dude has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Mann blocks an uppercut.

Mann pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mann throws an overhand right that lands on Dude's shoulder, as Dude tries to avoid the shot.
Dude throws a lazy uppercut
and Mann counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mann might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Dude has closed the distance and engaged Mann in a clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mann wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dude has him pressed against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Heavy Dude will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
