AW Invitational - Round 7 PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Ernest Chabot! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Joao Miyao!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Chabot shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Miyao pinned against the cage. Miyao gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chabot has his takedown stuffed
and Miyao holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Chabot has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miyao avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
