Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fortunado Sampaio (ranked 1015 p4p, 1064 weight class) and Tom Tomson (ranked 131 p4p, 140 weight class). Sampaio's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Corre Riba Corre Baixo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sampaio connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tomson momentarily.
Tomson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sampaio.
Tomson throws a lazy right hand but Sampaio sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fortunado Sampaio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sampaio waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tomson.
Sampaio takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sampaio swings widly with a right hand
enabling Tomson to counter with a crisp jab.
Sampaio throws a lazy head kick
and Tomson counters with a big right hand! Oh Sampaio is in trouble here! Tomson follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
