Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jah Kid (ranked 2068 p4p, 2021 weight class) and Ledley King (ranked 133 p4p, 59 weight class). Kid comes to the cage accompanied by Walk - Pantera. Jah Kid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jah Kid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ledley King!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King sizes up Kid with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
King throws a hook but Kid blocks it.
Kid connects with a body shot that sends King's belly button to the back.
Kid slips under a jab.
King tries to bum rush Kid with a series of wild strikes but Kid uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
An attempted straight right counter from Kid misses the target.
Kid uses good head movement to avoid the hook from King.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that King has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
