Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23303 p4p, 23597 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Salvacion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Amiga was covering up waiting for the punch and Salvacion finishes the takedown easily into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Amiga drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Salvacion gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Amiga is trying to trip Salvacion. He has hold of a leg but Salvacion is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Amiga persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Agbay Amiga will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Amiga shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Salvacion is looking for a triangle but Amiga pushes his legs off easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
