Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Pulver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber closes the distance and clinches up with Pulver, looking for a takedown. Faber pushes Pulver against the cage but Pulver circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Faber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pulver is fending him off so far but Faber persists. Nope, Pulver circles away and we're back to standing.
Pulver connects with a nice looking jab.
Pulver throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Faber.
Pulver instigates a clinch.
Faber fails to pull guard.
Josh Pulver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Urijah Faber.
Pulver stops a takedown attempt from Faber.
Pulver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Faber swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Faber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pulver is fending him off so far but Faber persists. Nope, Pulver circles away and we're back to standing.
Pulver shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pulver showed some decent athleticism there.
Pulver is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Pulver wants to work for an arm triangle but Faber is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Faber won't allow Pulver to pass to mount.

Pulver is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pulver is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Faber doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pulver.

Pulver is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Faber has escaped the position, nice work there.

Pulver wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Faber, who protects the arm well.

Faber might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pulver kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Pulver seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Faber is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
