Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Suutari Nuorempi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Tomson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuorempi misses with a takedown attempt - Tomson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nuorempi scores with a nice strike.
Tomson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nuorempi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Tomson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tomson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Nuorempi misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nuorempi connects with a body shot that sends Tomson's belly button to the back.
A swing and a miss from Nuorempi.
Nuorempi swings for the body but Tomson moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nuorempi misses with a body shot
and Tomson counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Suutari Nuorempi has been cut.
Tomson swings widly with a right hand
and Nuorempi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nuorempi is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Tomson just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Nuorempi has gone limp and this one is over!
