Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerome Gentry!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ioannou gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ioannou has a couple of punches blocked by Gentry.
Gentry lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Ioannou doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Gentry is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ioannou is defending well.

Ioannou lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gentry or not.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ioannou lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ioannou lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Ioannou's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ioannou scores with a takedown into Gentry's guard.
Gentry is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ioannou dives into side control.

Ioannou seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gentry for as long as he can get away with.
Gentry tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ioannou wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Gentry is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ioannou has just dragged him back down to the mat.
You can see the frustration on Gentry's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ioannou just content to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ioannou clinches up against the cage.
Gentry is trying to drag Ioannou to the mat but Ioannou just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Luke Ioannou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Gentry.
Ioannou presses Gentry against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ioannou throws a punch but it's blocked by Gentry.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ioannou.
Ioannou fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ioannou gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gentry regains guard.
Gentry is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ioannou dives into side control.
Ioannou knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gentry on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ioannou in side control lands a decent elbow.
Ioannou controls the position.
Ioannou is putting a hurting on Gentry here, landing some big shots from side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ioannou scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Gentry is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ioannou can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
