The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores misses with a straight left.
Silva wants to counter the offense by Flores and move into the clinch position.
Flores misses with a shot to the body

so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Silva engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Flores is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Flores might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flores digs a good body shot into Silva's ribs.

Flores throws an overhand right that drops Silva like a sack of potatoes! Flores dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
