Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slum Lord (ranked 4696 p4p, 4956 weight class) and Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 502 p4p, 523 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slum Lord!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boytsov!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Boytsov misses.
Lord bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lord is looking for a counter combo.
A telegraphed right hand from Boytsov misses the target.

Boytsov connects with a nice looking jab.
Boytsov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Boytsov showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lord wants to improve his position but Boytsov is controlling well.

Boytsov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lord is just riding it out for now. Boytsov eventually gives up the hold.

Lord looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Lord wants to get back to full guard.
Boytsov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lord doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Boytsov.

Boytsov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Boytsov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lord tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Boytsov!
