Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiden Banks (ranked 24827 p4p, 2894 weight class) and Ripp Colton (ranked 302 p4p, 141 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Caiden Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ripp Colton! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks clinches with his opponent.
Colton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Colton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Banks wants to pass the guard but Colton is keeping the position. Colton is trying to keep Banks in close.
Colton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Banks controlling from the top position. Banks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Banks wants to pass the guard but Colton is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Colton looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks tries to free his leg and advance position but Colton is retaining full guard. Colton is trying to control the position but Banks postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Banks clinches. Colton manages to pull guard.
Colton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Banks escapes and throws Colton's legs to the side, diving into side control! Colton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Banks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks wants to control but Colton is keeping him busy. Colton has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Colton is letting Banks control him for a moment. Colton wants to control but Banks postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colton is looking for a sweep. Colton keeps trying to improve his position. Colton struggling a bit here. Colton is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Banks off and has taken his back! Banks tries to break free.
Colton controlling from the back. Colton is not going to allow Banks to sit and survive in this position. Banks avoids the strikes from Colton.
That's four minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Banks right now.
Banks trying to control the position but Colton manages to sink in the hooks. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Banks's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Colton is riding his opponent, not letting Banks buck him off. Banks trying to control the hands but Colton breaks the grip. Banks can't escape the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ripp Colton dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Colton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Banks, pushing him back against the cage. Banks jumps guard and drags Colton to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Colton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Banks seems keen to control Colton's posture. Banks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colton tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Colton is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks tries to get back to half guard but can't. Colton controlling from side mount. Banks is trying to control Colton's posture but Colton avoids it. Banks is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Banks is working hard here to advance position. Banks can't do much from the bottom here. Colton remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Banks wants to control but Colton postures up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Banks tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Banks gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Banks uses from the top position. Colton is trying to keep Banks in close.
Banks slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Banks wants to control from the top but Colton keeps moving. Banks slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Colton trying to keep a closed guard but Banks is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Banks works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Banks is taking a breather. Colton says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Banks's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Banks takes the fight into the clinch. Banks gets control of Colton's arms and successfully pulls guard. Banks will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Banks looking to control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Caiden Banks will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Colton is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Banks defends well. Colton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Banks controls the pace. Colton working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Banks has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Banks just content to control the position. Colton tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Banks presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Colton is looking to get to half guard. Banks controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks wants to control the pace but Colton is squirming around nicely. Banks avoids the attempt from Colton to control. Ripp Colton has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Colton manages to regain half guard. Good work. Colton is looking to improve his position.
