Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ripp Colton (ranked 2879 p4p, 24327 weight class) and Derrick Ryker (ranked 148 p4p, 399 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ripp Colton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derrick Ryker! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colton has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ryker is trying to stall.
Colton jumps into guard, dragging Ryker to the mat.
Ryker content to stall in guard here. Ryker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Colton looking for subs off his back but Ryker has passed one foot through into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colton actively working from the bottom here. Colton is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colton is trying to get back to full guard. Ryker wants to free his trapped foot but Colton is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ryker perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Colton is looking for a sweep. Ryker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Well, if Ryker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Colton is trying to control but can't.
Ryker controlling the pace. Colton wants to improve his position but Ryker is controlling well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Colton darts in and clinches Ryker up against the cage. Ryker displaying some good clinch control by pressing Colton up against the cage. Colton pulls guard effortlessly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryker trying to control but Colton is working from the bottom. Colton isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ryker stacks Colton on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ryker! Colton is looking to reverse the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Colton trying to control but Ryker flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Colton trying to control the position but Ryker manages to sink in the hooks. Colton is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ryker.
Let's hope that Ryker has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Colton looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryker really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Colton. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Derrick Ryker will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Colton has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ryker is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Colton as Ryker tries to tie him up. Ryker seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. Colton pulls guard successfully.
Ryker sitting in guard here, content to control. Ryker trying to control the position from guard on top but Colton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colton is looking for a triangle here but Ryker uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryker taking a breather here. Colton is trying to work for a sweep but Ryker has mounted him! Ryker prevents Colton from getting the reversal. Colton is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Zombie MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Derrick Ryker has got the better of the ground game so far. Ryker wants to control the pace but Colton is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Colton is looking to improve his position but Ryker isn't that keen on the idea. Ryker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Ryker.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ryker looking to control but Colton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Colton is in all sorts of trouble here.

Derrick Ryker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Colton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Colton bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Colton stopping the sweep attempt from Ryker. Colton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Colton pulls his head out easily. Colton looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ryker is trying to control but Colton manages to pass to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ryker is in all sorts of trouble here.

Colton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryker slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Ryker is looking for a sweep. Colton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ripp Colton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Derrick Ryker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Ripp Colton showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ryker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
