Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Radu Romanescu (ranked 25120 p4p, 25168 weight class) and Pok Shoy (ranked 387 p4p, 356 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Radu Romanescu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pok Shoy! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romanescu throws a leg kick and Shoy counters with a shoot takedown. Romanescu fights it but they end up in guard. Shoy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Shoy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Romanescu is trying desperately to improve position.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Romanescu is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Shoy really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Romanescu. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pok Shoy dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Romanescu lands a lovely overhand right. Shoy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Romanescu gets a clinch. Shoy pulls guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Romanescu wanted to stand there but Shoy had control of the position. Romanescu wants to stand and escape but instead Shoy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Shoy has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Romanescu's body.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Shoy is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Romanescu taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Shoy.
