Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Dunn (ranked 24454 p4p, 24405 weight class) and Outer Haven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Outer Haven has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Dunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Outer Haven! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haven fails with a takedown attempt. Haven clinches. Dunn drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Haven breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunn moves out of range of the body kick. Dunn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dunn lands in his opponent's guard. Haven kicks Dunn off and gets to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haven circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dunn fails in his attempt to clinch. Haven is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Haven misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dunn shoots and misses and Haven moves into the clinch. Haven is trying to break free. Dunn jumps guard but Haven stands there with Dunn around his waist. Dunn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Dunn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dunn manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Haven lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dunn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dunn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Dunn with a lazy takedown attempt and Haven holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Haven cracks Dunn with a nice body shot. A head punch on the inside from Dunn fails to land. Haven gets underhooks to prevent Dunn's takedown attempt.

Haven presses Dunn against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Haven pulls guard effortlessly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haven has his hands on Dunn's head, controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haven keeping moving, preventing Dunn from controlling successfully. Dunn is really struggling to control Haven but he's trying to hold on to the position. Haven is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Haven preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dunn being controlled here momentarily. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Haven slaps away a takedown attempt from Dunn, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dunn with a lazy takedown attempt and Haven moves into the clinch. Haven gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dunn.
Dunn is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dunn tries to pull guard but Haven forces him back to his feet, against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Outer Haven dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! A decent looking cross lands there for Haven. Jake Dunn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No luck with that takedown attempt from Haven. Dunn has his takedown stuffed and Haven moves into the clinch. Haven breaks the clinch.
Dunn stuffs the takedown attempt from Haven. Haven gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dunn checks a leg kick. Haven darts in and clinches Dunn up against the cage. Dunn drops down looking for an ankle pick but Haven pulls his leg out and moves away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dunn is trying to maintain a safe position but Haven gets an underhook and turns Dunn into the cage. Dunn jumps guard but Haven turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Dunn breaks from the clinch.
Dunn stuffs the takedown. Haven pushes Dunn up against the cage in a clinch. Dunn is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Haven to keep the fight standing. Haven is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dunn gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Haven has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Haven clinches. Dunn prevents Haven from breaking the clinch. Dunn manages to break the clinch.
Dunn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Haven counters by moving into the clinch. Haven working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Haven is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dunn pulls him back up using the underhooks. Haven will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dunn up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haven throws a knee to the head but misses.
Dunn jumps guard but Haven turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Dunn misses with some punches.

Haven forces Dunn back against the cage and clinches. Haven breaks from the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haven shoots in looking for a takedown. Dunn tries to sprawl out of it but Haven keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dunn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dunn shoots in for a takedown but Haven shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dunn shoots and misses and Haven counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Haven. Haven wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Haven breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Haven throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dunn was covering up waiting for the punch and Haven finishes the takedown easily into guard. Haven sitting in guard here, content to control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Outer Haven showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Haven fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Haven avoids the head kick by Dunn.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Haven has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dunn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Dunn goes for a takedown in the clinch but Haven prevents it.
Dunn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Haven circles away from the clinch attempt.
Haven has closed the distance and engaged Dunn in a clinch.
Outer Haven seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Dunn wants a takedown.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dunn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dunn trying to control the position from guard on top but Haven is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Haven wants to improve his position but instead Dunn has moved into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Outer Haven. I've got Haven winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
