The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ibarra in his tracks.
Valdez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Valdez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ibarra back to the cage. Valdez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ibarra drops back looking for a leg! Valdez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Valdez manages to kick Ibarra off! Ibarra jumps back into Valdez's guard.
