Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lito Alcala (ranked 3460 p4p, 2694 weight class) and Great Tiger (ranked 222 p4p, 184 weight class). Alcala comes to the cage accompanied by MORTAL KOMBAT. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lito Alcala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 53 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Great Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcala fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tiger is out of range.
Alcala throws a leg kick

and Tiger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Alcala won't be happy with that.
Tiger trying to control the position but Alcala is working away.
Alcala is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tiger thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Alcala wants to control but Tiger postures up.

Tiger postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tiger misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Tiger throws a strike aimed at the side of Alcala's head but Alcala avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tiger content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Tiger wants to control but Alcala is keeping him busy.

Tiger is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Alcala knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Alcala struggling a bit here.
Tiger postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Alcala blocks a jab.
As Tiger backs away, Alcala returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Alcala swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tiger.
Tiger lands a right hook to the body.
Tiger connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Alcala connects with a solid leg kick.
Jab, jab by Alcala - just one landing.
Alcala throws a front kick that sends Tiger stumbling back into the cage.
Alcala misses with the body kick
and Tiger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Alcala enables Tiger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Alcala manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Alcala wants to get back to his feet but Tiger passes into half guard.
Tiger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tiger not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Alcala wants to improve his position but Tiger is controlling well.
Tiger passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Alcala!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Alcala throws a shot from downtown. Tiger moves away and avoids it.
Tiger doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Alcala throws a hook to the side of Tiger's head but Tiger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Alcala will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Alcala misses with a low kick as Tiger jumps back.
Tiger changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Tiger is looking to slow Alcala down with leg kicks.
Alcala works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Alcala throws a wild body kick that Tiger sees coming a mile off.

and Tiger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

We've been informed that Tiger has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Alcala missing with a left hand there. Tiger was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Tiger makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Tiger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Alcala throws out the jab.
Tiger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Alcala can pounce on him.
Alcala tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tiger is able to avoid easily.

Tiger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tiger dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Alcala. That did some damage!
Alcala is looking to chop away at Tiger's legs.

Alcala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Tiger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Tiger has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Tiger's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Alcala tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tiger missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tiger pushes down on Alcala's leg and manages to get into half guard.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Tiger.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Alcala pushes Tiger away with a front kick.
Tiger lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Alcala throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Alcala lands a slapping body shot.
A swing and a miss from Tiger.
Alcala sizes up Tiger with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tiger works Alcala's body with a nice hook.
Alcala jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tiger shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alcala defends it nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lito Alcala showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Alcala has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
