This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Cleetus Boone! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 2 losses; Ernest Chabot!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Boone.
Chabot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chabot wants it to stay on the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chabot tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Chabot is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Boone will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
It looks like Chabot might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Boone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Chabot is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.

Chabot's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chabot perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
