Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aulis Multio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kerr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Them Bones. Mark Kerr had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aulis Multio! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Multio tries to clinch up but Kerr circles away and keeps his distance. Multio tries to close the distance and clinch but Kerr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kerr slips a jab and a cross from Multio.
Multio looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kerr is trying to get back to full guard. Multio is thwarting Kerr's attempts to control the position. Multio throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Multio winds up and cracks Kerr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Multio missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Multio controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kerr wants to improve his position but Multio is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Multio's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Multio's back! Multio covering up well and avoiding damage. Multio rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Multio is trying to get back to full guard. Multio is controlling Kerr's position as best he can from this difficult position. Multio tries to get to full guard but Kerr has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Multio sizes up Kerr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kerr fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Multio is looking to clinch but Kerr is avoiding it.
Multio with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kerr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Multio counters with a nice double leg into guard. Multio with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Multio is working Kerr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Multio sitting in guard here, content to control. Multio throws a big right hand that misses. Multio seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Multio is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Multio trying to control the position from guard on top but Kerr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kerr has his feet on Multio's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kerr tries for a takedown but Multio circles away easily and Multio counters with a nice body shot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kerr is breathing heavily. Multio lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Multio.
It looks like Mark Kerr has been cut. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Multio is looking to clinch but Kerr is avoiding it.

Multio is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Multio pushes down on Kerr's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr tries to kick Multio off but Multio keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Still in half guard, Multio seems content to control. Multio is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Multio controlling his opponent. Multio trying to control but Kerr is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Despite being in the dominant position, Aulis Multio just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Multio misses with the combination.
Kerr with a poor takedown and Multio holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kerr tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Multio lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kerr. Multio working some nice short punches in the clinch. Multio manages to break the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Multio works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Multio controls the position. Kerr on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Multio has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Multio working the head with strikes. Multio staying calm. Multio lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kerr down.

And that's the end of the fight! Aulis Multio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Multio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
